"A wonderful 3 night stay in the family suite with two double beds. Service from all the hotel staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived, and they went above and beyond from giving us a takeaway breakfast on our last day when we left early, as well as helping with our hired tuktuk! Hotel is further out of Galle Fort (about a 10min tuktuk drive/25 min walk), but setting of buildings onsite is lovely, centred around the main pool and communal outside area. "Great place to stay very close to the lighthouse. Love the small, intimate, boutique-style feel to it. Make sure to have the egg hoppers for breakfast! Delicious!"

"The Bartizan's rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was generous, and we were given a packed breakfast on the day we left early. The staff were very attentive. It is located on the coast and walkable to loads of shops and restaurants. It was our favourite hotel in the two weeks we spent in Sri Lanka. "

"The hotel is beautiful with amazing views and excellent staff. The hotel has a free shuttle service between 8.30 and 4.00 to Jungle Beach and the temple. It’s also just ten minutes by tuktuk to Galle which cost about £1.50 - £2.00. The pool is lovely and the roof top bar sells great cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan.) "We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again"
