"This cabin was so wonderful…. Comfortable beds, perfectly located with the beautiful Ausable right across a quiet road, sitting on 5 acres so lots of privacy and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We would stay again if we ever head back that way. Thank you!!"

"Great location with easy access to Whiteface, Lake Placid, hiking. View from the deck to the Ausable River is lovely; peaceful, great place to read or relax. Though there is a dock, access to the river is tricky if you plan to launch a kayak or canoe. Kitchen is well equipped; deck and yard are large. Beds very comfortable. The property is a bit overgrown. House smaller than expected from the website photos. The gazebo/screened porch were not useable; needs a good cleaning and some repair as does the front porch. Overall though, a pleasant place to stay."

"The lodge is clean and spacious. Our guests had a wonderful relaxing weekend after an extended wilderness adventure. The multiple washers and dryers were helpful were the multiple bathrooms. Some issues with broken glassware and chipped dinnerware but everything was wonderful especially the responsive host."

Judi was very accommodating when we had to modify our reservation and very communicative providing excellent information before, during and after our stay, the home was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen extremely well-equipped. We loved the back deck, yard and incredible view. Thanks again, Judi, for a memorable stay!"

"– Absolutely Perfect Getaway!Loved the property! We had a group of 8, and the space accommodated us perfectly without ever feeling crowded. The environment is incredibly cozy and comfortable, but the real highlight was the proximity to the water—hearing the peaceful sound of the river all day long was amazing. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, which was a fantastic bonus.The location is ideal because it gives you the flexibility to do as much or as little as you want. To top it off, the owners were wonderful hosts who replied immediately whenever we had a question or a need. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this property!"

"We had a wonderful time at the property. Great host. House had many things that warmed our hearts. Small but impactful. We loved the game room especially since we had 4 teen boys. There were adequate towels, crockery, lovely done coffee stand, games and so much more. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Very pet friendly home too."
