"We stayed here with 5 adults, two married couples and one individual. The accommodation was superb and had everything we needed. It was the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Having two bathrooms and three toilets meant we could sort ourselves out without the usual hassles. We found it ideally situated for walking to the cathedral and a little beyond to the shops. You do drop down into town so there's a climb back to the property but it was only about a 15 minute walk, maybe slightly longer if you meander. Because of the properties location we were able to have a meal out, with a drink and not have to worry about who was driving. The property is close to St Thomas church and the bells do ring on the hour even at night. One of our party struggled a bit with the noise but he is also a very light sleeper. The rest of us were OK. We did manage to lock ourselves out one evening but we called the supplied number for such cases (and such idiots) and our call was promptly answered. We were given some instructions and were then able to enter the property. I can therefore say in an emergency situation, access to help works effectively. Overall I, and all of my party, would highly recommend this property as one worth staying in if you are visiting Wells and the surrounding areas."
