All the self guided tours suggested stopping in Bergen Op Zoom but we decided to go to Halsteren instead - just so we could stay at this B&B. It was the best decision! Alex was a kind and welcoming host, the property and view were amazing and Halsteren was a lovely town. Highly recommend!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel finely. We did unfortunately have to change rooms due to a buzzing noise from the refrigeration system. Fortunately, this went easily and we were upgraded to one of the suites. It should be mentioned that the front of the hotel and restaurant 1937 both look fantastic but the experience towards and in the rooms is authentic and somewhat dated."

"Hotel located in a convenient location, next to the train station (city center walkable in 7 mn). Renovations in progress but not noisy, and the new rooms are very nicely decorated, with great amenities such as pillow mist! Great fresh and complete breakfast buffet, delicate attentions such as maccarons & detox water at the front desk. Nice staff."
