"I have stayed here a couple of times for convenience while visiting family. The hotel reception staff were courteous and warm, good car parking facilities. Unfortunately there was a wedding on and the hotel was extremely busy, noisy and untidy in the front of house areas. The room was large and comfortable however not as clean as on previous visits. "

"Hotel is directly opposite where you check in, which is The George pub. No staff being readily available in the building was a little inconvenient as we had a few confusing moments with the room temperature and couldn’t change it. Also, tv remote was broken so was difficult to navigate using it, but having no main reception in the building meant you couldn’t just pop and get a replacement! But it was very clean, large wet room and not too much trouble to navigate once inside. Would stay again, as it conveniently on the high street so all shops are so close."

"Property needs a bit of tlc but the staff are amazing, couldn't do enough to help us and accomodate my room request. Special thanks to the restaurant staff member who kindly filled out drinking bottles with cool water before our drive home!"
