"Check-in was easy by a friendly man. The room was very clean as were the bed linens and they smelled nice, bed was comfy. This is an older hotel that has been renovated and is a good value. Bonus is it is walking distance to restaurants."
Cedartree Hotel Portland Hillsboro

"Cedartree Hotel is a hidden gem. Looks very unassuming from the outside but as soon as you step in you’re essentially transported to Japan. There is a koi pond in the lobby surrounded by numerous comfortable seating options, a tatami room tucked away in the corner with Japanese games upon request, a rock garden for some peace, quiet, and serenity, and a gift shop with an assortment of fun local and Japanese goods (towels, stationary, postcards, magnets, etc). The king room we stayed in was spacious and clean with the largest tub and shower area I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I love the “drop zone” they added near the door with hooks and shelves. The highlight, of course, was the onsen! Open for use late night (til midnight) and early morning (starting at 5am) with plentiful space to store your things, dress/undress, shower, and soak! I was in onsen heaven. I came away feeling so relaxed after my stay and can’t wait to return! Oh and the complimentary ice, lemon water, and coffee next to the elevators was very welcomed. 5 shining stars!"

"Loved this hotel! They had instant cameras available for rent at the front desk for $25 - such a great souvenir! They had a fantastic gym, some pinball machines (arcade), tons of board games to choose from, and best of all - beer hour! Free beer (choice of 3 varieties) in the lobby between 5-6pm!!! Room was lovely and clean, only concern was the shower quality - weak pressure and old shower head, but small concern for a generally excellent experience."

"Overall, a good experience. Bar was a great time with the Halloween season about to start. Very centric and had the Food Truck Market within a blocks distance, and major shopping areas within a few blocks as well."

"Love love love the Royal Sonesta!! Hotel is such a great place that just oozes cool! It’s an excuse to come to Portland overnight or for the weekend just to enjoy the vibes."
Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites Hillsboro

"The staff was friendly and informative about the property and the city. The room was clean and the kitchen area was great, the dishwasher was a huge plus. I stayed 5 nights and did not have any issues with my room during my stay. The most important part to any room was the A/C and it blew nice and cold all night. Next time I visit Portland, I'll be staying here again."
Moxy Portland Downtown

"I've stayed at the Moxy in Portland at least three times now and it's always been a pleasant experience. The linens are fantastic and the lobby always smells great. It's a solid hotel with good amenities and it's perfectly located near coffee shops, restaurants, and other fun locales."
