"Absolutely LOVE this gem of a hotel/hidden oasis! Right off the highway between Beaverton and Portland is this magical oasis that makes you feel like you truly on a vacation. From the moment you pull into the property you feel it. I am SUPER picky about hotels and we normally only stay at McMenamins with the soaking pools/garden grounds, but they were full up and we found this amazing place.
Even pulling in on a very loud Friday night with tons of commotion a huge kids sport tournament to concerts, the staff immediately helped us be located in a quiet, away from it all room and were so kind and caring. At checkout, Michael was fantastic and so personable.
I love the older retro feel but with updated amenities. You still get the nostalgia vibes which I love, but with fresh updates/clean. I love the new rooms, so cozy and comfortable! I was in the King tower with a balcony and so my view of the stunning fountain and landscaping was heaven.
From the gym, to the speakeasy to the large free parking (hard to find in Portland), to the pool/hot tub and relaxing property vibes, this is the place! We will be back over and over!"
