B&B in Western Cape

I think this was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The decor is fabulous and the hosts Deon and Leanne were so lovely, they welcomed us with a wonderful tour and nice glass of wine. It felt like going to your dear friend’s fabulous home for a visit. The accommodations were superb. They have thought of everything you might need or want. And beautiful!!! I wish we had stayed there more than 1 night. On the ocean with a lovely view and so luxurious. Wilderness is a beautiful area. I hope...

Clean and comfortable room. Hosts and staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delicious w a spread of fresh fruit, yogurt & granola and made to order hot breakfast. We felt very pampered during our short stay at the BnB. Only thing to note is that when we selected our room there was a picture on Expedia showing a small balcony with ocean views, however our room was not on the oceanview side of the property, but rather on ground level facing a small garden area....

Great place, everything is just fun and nice. I photos don't do the place justice, you need to visit and experience the place for yourself. What a delight. I would stay again if in the area.

I only stayed one night but I will definitely return for longer stays. The owner-manager could not have been kinder or more helpful as I was there for doctors' office visits at the Panorama Medicentre, a short walkable 1 km away. The bed and one bedroom suite were the most comfortable I have stayed in for quite sometime. The breakfast (included) was homemade eggs, bacon, toast and they even had decaf coffee for me. I love Paperbark Manor and will come again.

Excellent waterfront location, unique building with very helpful staff! We were the only guests as it was low season. there are several rooms on the property including one excellent suite on the top floor. but we stayed in the standard room. Standard English breakfast was served in the morning. Al was quiet and peaceful.

Our hosts, Cindy and Charlie, were very kind and engaging. The room was clean and spacious, with a fantastic view of the bay. Breakfast was superb, with a great selection of anything that you could possibly want. We highly recommend this property for anyone staying in Gordon’s Bay.

Our stay at Whale Coast Ocean Villa was fabulous! This is the perfect place for exploring the Hermanus Cliff Walk and Grotto Beach. It is beautifully decorated, the breakfast was amazing, the staff warm and welcoming. Our stay was too short. Hope to visit again soon.

We had a fabulous one night stay at the manor. The welcome was warm, check-in was quick, the service was professional and warm, the beds were comfy, the environment was peaceful (loved the background ocean sounds) and the breakfast was hearty. Very highly recommended!

Nice rooms and a short walk from downtown. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful accommodating our late arrival. Really glad we stopped here!
