"For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. Place was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen, we did one load of laundry, nice to go back with clean clothes."

"The breakfast was very good including the coffee (not everyone has good coffee). There is plenty of off street parking in a secure and well lit parking lot behind the building. There are actually 2 buildings and one appears to be all suites. I suggest you request a room in the suite building. You might also request a room towards the back of the building as street noise could be an issue for those who are light sleepers. Finally, if you plan to visit the wineries in the area plan to do so early...

"Our check-in was professional and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. We were disappointed with the poor maintenance and condition of things, especially the mold and crappy patch job of the grout in the shower. "

"This is a very nice hotel with spectacular views. It’s slightly dated, but that is also what gives this hotel its charm. You can tell it’s been around for awhile and has a lot of history. The dinner was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and the fireplace in the lobby was wonderful. My only complaint is there was a wedding taking place when we stayed, and for the most part, it was fine.
