"We stayed here because it is extremely convenient to the Amtrak Station. We were late checking in but the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. The building itself is really quite nice - previously a federal reserve bank. I Don’t miss checking out the vaults in the basement! "

"This is a very nice hotel with spectacular views. It’s slightly dated, but that is also what gives this hotel its charm. You can tell it’s been around for awhile and has a lot of history. "My family and I booked at this hotel in December 2020 for a wedding inJuly 2022. Was told by hotel that they didn't take monies for rooms at time of booking. Received email in March 2022 that our accommodations could not be honored due to University of Pittsburgh had taken over the hotel. So never got chance to stay at hotel. Very disappointing"
