"Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. "

"The hotel is one of our go to hotels when visiting Bristol but the adjacent NCP car park doesn't inspire confidence when solo walking after parking. "

"Beautiful grounds! Stay in the manor house as the courtyard garden rooms are the old servants quarters. Breakfast was good. You can’t beat the atmosphere. "

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was central to all the sites. Tons of restaurants, pubs, bakeries, and coffee shops within walking distance. Grocery store next door made getting water and snacks easy and affordable. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Only negative comment is that one of the lifts was not working so you sometimes had to wait quite a bit if you had luggage. This was really only an issue during checkout time. "
