Location perfect, could easily spend hours just sitting on the deck with a cup of tea watching the world go by as ever changing depending on the time of day, weather and tides. What started as a stressful day with flight cancellations turned into a happy surprise thanks to this hotel, and the team were so polite, friendly and genuinely welcoming. The room was huge and spacious, with a super comfortable bed and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere – everything worked perfectly, which made it really easy to relax. The gardens are gorgeous and beautifully kept, adding a lovely, calm vibe every time you step outside. Breakfast was included in my room rate and it was fantastic – hearty options, really tasty and such good value that it felt like a little bonus treat to start the day. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and happily recommend it to anyone visiting Dunedin."
