The location is very convenient, and the property has been newly renovated. The interior is clean, modern, and stylish. The staff were friendly and even offered us vouchers for local activities, which was a lovely surprise. There were only two minor drawbacks. First, in our room type, all the bedrooms were upstairs while the only toilet was downstairs, which was a little inconvenient, especially at night. I was most impressed with the hotel staff. They were friendly, very accommodating and handled special requests quickly and without hesitation. We had a really nice stay there and they had two hot tubs and a pool that we took advantage of.

A truly distinguished hotel addresses problems with grace. When we arrived, the AC was not working; and the room was very hot. The receptionist quickly got a tech, who explaned that the fix might take a while. So, we went to dinner while she worked on it. After dinner, the waitress declined payment and said the hotel would comp our dinner. When we got to our room, the AC was working. A memorably good hotel!

Best vacation home ever for large group. We had a group of 10, including three children. House is modern, spacious, and well equipped. The game room was particularly wonderful for the kids. It was well decorated and kept in an immaculate condition. Everything was as advertised. Irene was our contact and she was the most responsive agent I have ever worked with. Always responded right away with helpful information. High recommend.

Everything was perfect .i really liked my room because i wanted my our private kitchen n bathroom. Its was just excellent . Next time whenever i.ll visit rotorua for stay i.ll book my room in green view motel.this time i.ll also going to use the swimming pools and other things i just missed last time. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Dave and Shami are wonderful hosts at this bed and breakfast in a quiet neighborhood in the hills above Rotorua. Delicious breakfast too!

This place was very positive experience and we would stay again. A pleasure to meet the Hosts, pictures are exactly as they appear. Quiet neighborhood, parking easy, and all amenities that you need. Close to downtown, the geothermal spa, and ice cream parlor! Love Rotorua!

Hotel was great. Full breakfast delivered to room, wi-fi access for multiple devices and a self-serve laundry room made for a wonderful stay.

Our check-in felt a bit awkward—we were told many (many) times how the property and views are “quite stunning” as we were shown around. Everything else was very nice. Room had a great view, and we really liked the breakfast (and breakfast staff). Parking on the hill was tricky!

People in the hotel was very nice. Hotel is located in the town centre. You can go to bus centre, shopping streets, several sightseeing places within 30 min walking distance. No glass/cup in the washing room probably due to New Zealand custom. We took a glass out of 3 glasses from kitchin. Next day, only 2 cups remain in the kitchin. Next day only 1 glass remaind in the kitchin. We claimed this when check-out. They explained us that maid puts glasses in the dish washer in the kitchin...

We stayed in the white room with the purple/plum attached bathroom that included a private patio. This room was like time-traveling into 40s-60s luxury. Beautiful moldings. Gorgeous built-in cabinets and shelving. The place isn't perfect, but it was impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and if you're a fan of mid-century deco, you'll love staying in this room.

Really helpful owners on site, convenient location for what we wanted to see. Clean cute place. Not much in the way of restaurants around, 2 options with funky hours in the office season, but good food when open. VERY small town.
