"This is not as described. It is not close to downtown Boston and to take public transportation you have to walk up and down a very steep hill. The area is also very sketchy. It is very loud with tenants living above and below you. The back stairwell goes both up and down to both properties which also leads to your kitchen. There is no deadbolt on this door which is very old and flimsy. After not sleeping all night due to the noise there was an incident where someone started banging on the back door and ringing the doorbell nonstop for over 10 minutes. When I finally realized it was coming from our back door and went to peek out the door and there was a big man in his underwear running down the steps. My granddaughter and I were very afraid and upset. When requested to get my money back for the three unused days I was told okay. The money refunded was minimal and not the amount I should have received under the circumstance. I never write reviews but since we both were traumatized by this situation I want to spare others the same fate. DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"We liked the place a lot. Lots of space, lots of good local eats and a 20 minute drive into downtown Boston. Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time!! "

"Nicely appointed and clean place to stay. The location was perfect—in our case access to Faulkner Hospital for a surgery. Everything we needed was within easy distance either walking or driving. Loved taking walks at Arnold Aboreteum. The only thing I might recommend is requesting the upstairs unit to avoid hearing any guests in the other unit. Also the set up would be great if you have two couples or a family with older kids as the downstairs is very private and has a second TV and sitting area. "

"This was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Boston for St. Patrick's Day. The apartment was spotless. Rooms were big enough. Kitchen just the right size. It is on the 3rd floor if that is an issue for anyone with stairs. Our host was beyond friendly and helpful. I had questions on how to take the T to get into Downtown Boston and her response was immediate. No question I would rent this space again when we are back in Boston!"
