"This was an excellent place to not only stay, but to also eat as it is a must wonderful public house as well. Everything was 5 star from check in, the wonderful comfortable room, the excellent food for dinner, and the delicious breakfast served by a very professional lady, unfortunately I didnt get her name. Hayley who was on hand running the dinner service the night before was very friendly and lovely too."

"This is a lovely little hotel where the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It was clean, my room was spacious, and the owners were generous with their time explaining how to get the most out of a short stay in Bath. The hotel is a bit of a hike outside of town, but it was good to be in a quieter part of town. There were a number of restaurants near the hotel. Would stay here again. "

"Def would recommend! Loved it! Luxurious room/breakfast experience. Great staff too. Was worried about parking but actually plenty of room. Also, v good location. My 87 year old slow walking mum was able to walk into the city and back each day we were there, and that was up the slope! She said it was an easy/enjoyable walk! We had planned to use buses but didn’t need to. "

"A great spot for easy access to Bath, Bristol and the delightful village of Cheddar and the gorge. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the food they prepared was plentiful and tasty. We can recommend a meal in the gorgeous train carriage attached to the bar - a lovely experience. "

"Stayed overnight prior to a day at the East Somerset Railway 10 minutes away. Jeff welcomed us on arrival , and showed us to our room. Room was compact, but very comfortable, en suite, tea and coffee , tv and hairdryer in room , and very comfy bed. Had a nice meal in the evening, served by a very friendly lady ( sorry we didn’t catch her name) , in the cosy dining room. We pre-ordered breakfast, which was lovely and set us up for the day. All in all this was s great stay, with friendly hosts and great value. We would thoroughly recommend the Pecking Mill Inn."
