"This is an old building with 6 rooms and a pub/restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms are huge with updated bathrooms and antique furnishings. Loved the ambience. Although my husband uses a walker, he was able to manage the stairs to our room on the first floor. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the food was delicious. Breakfast was included and we ate dinner there 2 nights out of 3. The Old Vine is right on the park of Winchester Cathedral and only a block from the High Street where there are lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again. We stayed 3 nights before boarding the Queen Mary 2 and the staff arranged a taxi to pick us up at the hotel."
