Then came dinner ... and breakfast ... and tea ... everything superb. We are well travelled. We have been in several countries of South America, Central and North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and in very good hotels. Buckland Manor is among the very best.

Being a guest in The Feathers for 4 days was like stepping back into a gracious way of life that made me feel like I was a guest in a Tudor manor. Every common gathering area was furnished like a welcoming home, with lovely decor and photographs of the hotel's and town's history. The dining and bar service were excellent, and there were nooks for companionable sharing of food and drink. My ancestors lived in Ledbury 300 years ago and I can't imagine why they ever left.
