"Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. Staff lovely and room quiet. breakfast good and grounds wonderful. "

"We stayed in the 1 bed cottage in the hotel complex. It was very comfortable and very clean. We didn’t need cleaning daily but they still left the refill of coffee, teabags, water etc for us which is very useful. Parking can be a bit tricky but we managed to find a space usually after 5pm. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in town centre."

"Room to a high standard and hotel was well presented. Bed mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. Main disappointment was the staff. Reception staff were robotic and unengaging. Most staff we encountered failed to engage and did not acknowledge our presence. Bar staff were young and inexperienced, hard to get their attention. Great hotel but staff let it down , not sure if we stay again."

"What a lovely find! The Shakespeare Suite is fantastic. We had Sunday lunch and would definitely recommend it. I’m gluten free and they catered for me no problems. The staff were lovely and friendly, chatted to us, were attentive and nothing was too much for them! Breakfast the next morning was great. Good choice and freshly cooked to order. "

"I stayed at The Bell in Tewkesbury for a couple of nights with my Sister. Check in was easy, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely presented and clean as was the rest of the bar and dining area. Breakfast was included and had a choice of cereal / yogurt / fruit / pastry’s plus a choice of cooked breakfast which was all very nice. Location was excellent for the Abbey, museums, shops, trails and walks with plenty of bars and places to eat. Plenty of things to do...

"The Breakfast team are exceptional....food out of this world, one of the best breakfasts you will ever have at a hotel. We are elderly and Olivia was so kind to us during our stay. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Plenty of beds in the morning and a great escape to the air conditioning in the afternoon. Nicest bunch of people made this a great stay. Thank you to all the team"

"Really nice welcoming clean hotel. Dog was made very welcome, even had a bag of treats waiting for him in the room. Hotel next to the main eateries and pubs etc. Food and drink available in the pub which is very good. Will stay again. "

"Beautiful property and pub. Make sure you have dinner early though or take food with you as the kitchen closes early and no where to get any food locally. "
