10/10 Excellent

"Stayed here before in a standard room and the AC wasn't working so the room had a small fan, was pretty basic. This time I paid for the upgrade and it was well worth the extra, AC was working (but a bit weak), bed was a lot more comfortable and nice coffee machine and some complimentary snacks and soft drinks. Gym was a bit crowded and some machines were broken, didn't use the pool. Bar food and service was ok, typical selections but was a short stay so didn't get bored of it. Parking easy and the area was ok so I'd stay again"

"We were happy to find this property close to family near Redditch. Ample parking, comfortable room, bathroom was gorgeous. Be prepared to carry your bags up and down stairs as there is no lift (two staff members offered to carry them for us, which we declined but appreciated). Surprisingly, there is no fan in the bathroom, so after showers the room got humid and hot quite quickly. Using the table fan helped. The safety lock on the room door was broken. The walls are paper thin; we could hear our neighbours easily, much like you can in a house. Would stay here again, would probably just ask for a ground floor room next time."

"Sad to see the place was a little underused. However the staff were very kind and helpful, and the room was perfectly adequate for the purpose of a budget overnighter room only. Basic accommodation but room was clean and a nice big telly was comfortably positioned. Would not hesitate to book again if on a budget."
