"Location, wow - beautiful vistas, lovely gardens, lovely cottage. Inside is also very nice indeed, well appointed and comfortable - only negative there was that there was a bit of a paraffin smell near the boiler, not sure if there had been a spillage. Otherwise great and extremely convenient for the RHS show. We cooked, we BBQd, we ate on the deck, we watch the wildlife. Alpaca farm is a short walk and was a lovely little trip for brekkie and animal watching. We will be back! Thanks Alison :)"

"We arrived at the hotel and mentioned that we were there to celebrate a birthday and were immediately given a glass of fizz each. The room was great with good facilities and was very comfortable. Staff were excellent, I had a large clean room with a sofa, whilst being slightly dated it was functional and fine for one night. I would stay again. Wi fi was very good and free. "Hotel is in need of modernisation very old and tatty furniture, hair in bath plug from previous guest, no soap, shower gel in bathroom you have to pay if you want it and at £134 a night i expect at least soap to wash your hands. Just a shame as it’s a perfect location but the hotel needs some renovations. "
