"Construction between buildings, closed pool for private event did not provide extra seating at second pool. Front desk people not helpful. Electric out let’s not working. Everything was an “up charge”"

"Didn’t really have a view of the ocean… hotel promoted that they rented beach chairs and umbrellas but it was only what other people have left after their stay. The beach access wasn’t really “exclusive” it was just across the street. They offered “beach towels” but they were practically hand towels, that’s how small they were. "

"Great location, right on the waterway with water taxi stop right there. Short walk to the beach, shopping and amenities close by. Nice lobby area with coffee shop, restaurant, games for the family and bar. Valet parking and free storage of your luggage if needed. Outside space was beautifully landscaped- lots of lounge chairs, patio bar and tables to sit and watch the boats go by or the draw bridge! Pool was lovely too! Outdoor games as well. Rooms were large and spacious but well worn. The biggest negative was the cleanliness… dishes still had food on them, sheets were clean but stained, same with white towels- not clean. Windows, appliances wiped with dirty cloth leaving gross film on everything!!! Bare minimum utensils. But the layout was really nice- could be awesome if refreshed and kept to a higher standard of cleanliness! Shout out to Steve at the front desk- went out of his way to call us a taxi ride to the airport!"

"Amazing property with wonderful location. We stayed in a gorgeous ocean front room that was perfect for our stay. The historic feeling hotel is modern in all of the right way's. . Beautiful bathrooms and comfortable beds. The best part was the balcony overlooking the ocean. Staff was great from check in to check out . Can not speak highly enough but about our experience!"

"We love the Coral Reef Guest House. This has become our favorite hotel on the Atlantic. Wayne and Jerome, owner and manager, are more than accommodating. Excellent customer service and an actual feeling of family instead of the cold box hotels. Thanks to Jerome, the rooms are spotlessly cleans, the beds are comfortable and the linens are always snow white. As I often say, Corral Reef may not be the Ritz, but it's better than the Ritz."
