"The staff (Ian) was great. View was fantastic. The only thing we didn’t like about the place is the floor we're in (15th floor) smelled like sewage. Once you enter the hall you'll be welcomed with the strong smell of sewage. Apart from that the place was good value for money if you're ok with the smell."

"The location is very good. i enjoy the short walk to the MRT station. The hotel is honestly beyond expectations. Staff were all very professional and friendly. The room is exceptionally clean and comfortable. With the 24-hour bookstore right next to it, I enjoyed my stay."

MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao

"This is a hotel I definitely will revisit and stay. What I like the most is its staff and its location very close to MRT, 2 mins walking distance. If I have to recommit something, I would say a water station in every floor and no need for individually packaged for a tiny Q-tip for example. Less plastic usage should be idea. I know it a Japanese franchise hotel but everyone should do their part to make this world less polluted. Hope this helps. Best, Wen"

"10 days in Taipei and loved staying here. It’s occupying two floors of a mixed-use building which is quite popular in Taipei. The staff was excellent in recommending places to get what I wanted. Daily breakfast is pre ordered and brought to the lobby for pick up. (Taiwanes breakfast or McDonalds) there’s an eating area with tea and coffee. The neighborhood is lively with many eateries including DinTaiFung. Many SOGO department stores as well. I would stay again if on a budget. Just don’t pick the rooms without windows. "

"We had a wonderful stay at amba. The room was clean, bright, and spacious for 2 people. Staff were so friendly. We appreciated the free laundry facility available as we stayed for several nights. The hotel is conveniently close to the train station, MTR, and the Raohe Night Market. Highly recommended!"
