I had great time while staying at the waterfront hotel. The front desk staff welcomed us with such professional and friendly manner, the location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit - Jiufen, Shenfen and Rahoe night market. And we also enjoyed running along the river in the morning! They also have coin laundry which works perfect for light traveler like me.

My room have a balcony, so I can enjoy my coffee, by the way the house coffee is good. There are construction noises with construction crew working. They use the bulldozer’s bucket to grind the new concrete slab, and the grinding noise is terrible. The hotel’s location is easy to walk.

This hotel is conveniently located behind Raohe Street Night Market although you cannot hear anything from the market itself. If you enjoy walks and / or runs along a river that option is also available to you. The hotel is also walking distance to Xinyi during which you can explore more of Taipei and its many markets. Hotel staff are friendly and always available on hand to help where needed.

My family of 4 stayed here one night on two separate occasions. Great staff. The first time, we came in late from our flight, everything was wonderful. We stayed in the 4 person bunk room. Comfortable beds, warm comforter, clean sheets and pillows. There are black out curtains on each bunk with a light and power outlet. There are also lockers. The room space is small but we were not staying much in the room. The shared bathroom was only for our room just across the hall. Bikes were not available, staff told numerous patrons they were broken. The second time, our room was not ready at check in time and it appeared the same for many other guests. The lobby was full. At 3pm we all received our keys. Same room but this time it was quite damp and a bit smelly. There was an air purifier/dehumidifier that we used the whole time we were there - it helped a bit. The location is amazing - night market and then the walking path along the rainbow bridge/river goes on forever.

The staffs are very accommodating and will do their best to help you. The room is clean and large. The only inconvenience is the lack of windows curtains in the room. From my side of room, I could see the building across me and I’m worried they could peak into the room as well. Same thing for the shower, the glass in the room is not entirely covered by the opaque sticker. I will come back for the convenience of the area, the friendliness of the staff and the large and clean room!

Pros: - close to night market - 3-5 minutes walk to subway station - modern design with great river view at additional cost - daily housekeeping - shuttle service available but we took the subway instead Cons: - bath towels are in replaceable condition with holes in them - toilet was clogged during 2/3 of our stay - entrance is right in front of a street with motorbikes constantly passing, sidewalk on the other side - only one chair in the room, wish there was one more in the double room - weak AC even when turned on 16C
