We had a pleasant atay here and the staff were really nice and accommodating. The only things I would like them to add would be a microwave and some teaspoons in the room. We'd like to have coffee in the morning and there were no teaspoons or stirrer.

Lovely stay at CJ Hotel, the room we had was amazing like a little self service apartment. There was a mezzanine where the bed was and required climbing stairs with a low roofline which would restrict some travellers but we loved it. Staff warm and welcoming, located near great food and shopping areas and metro. Highly recommended to stay

Very good for group travellers and family

Fantastic location with plenty of local eateries, central transportation, night market and sport center for cheap gym visits near by. Free drinking water for self pickup. Room with huge spaces with washing machine -fits best for travel in group or family. The room had re-interior design for improvements. It is not so new. But good value for what we paid.

Overall it’s good, the location is convenience, the staffs are very helpful to provide assistance and answer questions promptly, only one point that may be out of their control is the toilet flushing system, used toilet paper need to put into the bin, it is not hygiene, if this can be improved, then it’s perfect.

200% Valued hotel in Taipei, highly recommend

The location is very convenient to any tourist attractive spots either by bus or underground. The night market is less than 10 minutes walk. You can take a day return trip to various long distance attractions by bus / speed train such as Beitu spring bath, Shifen, Jiufen old street. The airport and underground train entrance is only diagonal opposite to the hotel. You just need to walk through the connection of underground shopping arcade. The staff are friendly and helpful. 24 hour Convenience store, chinese pancake and noodle shops are nearby

Hotel staff and location are the only things I like about this hotel. A lot of people have mentioned the property is not as clean which I think they're all true. Their profile pictures look a lot nicer and bigger than it actually is. It also has a lot of rules that no many people are mentioning, like A/C can't be over 23C. ALL toilet paper has to go into trash can but they aren't cleaning trash everyday upon requests. Showers should be taken no more than 15 mins. I have no mean that I cannot follow rules, but I rather pick other hotels that makes me feel more comfortable.

First impression of the room is that it's cozy and cute and thoughtfully provided all amenities. Realised the room was rather dirty - windows had visibly not been cleaned in a while with black spots everywhere and dust coating the outside (room faces the main road) when we wanted to do work at the tables. While the room we stayed in has a table top, it is not possible to do work there (it is a high table and the foot board is wobbly, facing the dirty windows :S) and we decided to get a day pass at the co-working space instead. This additional $40 / day extra made us wish we had opted to stay in a nicer place to begin with. Reception time from 11am to 7pm only, but not an issue either. It is in a very convenient location near the train station, and owner was nice to let us check out slightly later. They provide free flow bottled water too.

They do cleaning upon request but the room has a bad wet smell, and they enclosed the bunk bed with a board which collected dust overtime. The toilet floor material which is meant for anti slipped but it has problem drying up, hence bad smell. We even have adult cockroaches in the toilet. All these excluded my bad check in experience, which they claimed it was expedia's fault. Anyhow, the owner had reimbursed some money back to me.

CJ Hotel is well located 5 mins walk from Beimen station, and 12 mins walk from the Airport Rail. Convenient places to eat less than 5 mins walk away. Some of them 24hours, some of them open till late. Chek in and out process is east. Can contact the hotel by Line app. Aircon, bed, and TV was more than sufficient, although the mattress was a little on the stiff side. However, the "kitchenette" sink and bath room has a little mildew smell. Free self service to bottled water and other amenities on the 2nd floor. Entrance to the building and elevator is vis RFID tag, and entry to the room is by a digital lock with pin code. Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Taipei.
