There no dark shades in the windows so the morning light can disturb you. The room keys are the old type and require some skills to manage it. The hotel is ok to be far from the city noise. "

"Extremely satisfied with our stay at the Savoy. The staff are very responsive to customer needs. We let them know when booking the room that one of us has mobility issues and they gave us a room with special accommodations for that. The room was very spacious. The light coloured furniture, walls, carpeting and the large window keep the room looking bright. The hotel is very close to the Neuengasse entrance/exit from the SBB train station. This made it very convenient for us to explore other Swiss cities and get to Zurich airport by rail. Bern’s key tourist attractions are all within walking distance if the hotel. There is an abundance of shopping and dining establishments in the area. We would definitely stay at the Savoy again. "
