Though it's just a short stop after one day hiking, the facilities in the house are simple but with almost all what you need. Very clean environment. "We had a wonderful time here! The room was large and comfortable for a family of four. We liked the quirky bird decorations and had fun identifying the native ones we have seen. I loved the balcony with an ocean view and the rooftop a for a more 360 degree view. It was our first time to Hualien area and loved the quiet and peaceful road this hotel was located on. The owner was so helpful and generous. We enjoyed the Taiwanese breakfast buffet, especially the radish cakes! Definitely will return....

"Overall this is a great place to stay if you are looking to spend a lot of time at Taroko Gorge. However, that also means the area around is pretty remote and transportation is limited. It is a good budget hostel to stay at if you are staying for a few days. "
