"We have stayed previously at this hotel and it seems the furnishings and carpets, etc could use a deeper clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. We like the location with the proximity to the city centre a short drive away. Lots of construction in Melbourne going on and of course the traffic is usually busy."

"I've always enjoyed my stay here. Already know what to expect. Elegant, charming, close to Princess theatre, Imperial hotel for pub/bistro food, the historical Parliament building is right opposite the Windsor. Trams along Spring St., in between Bourke, Little Collins & Collins St. not far for either walking, discovering lovely eateries, trams that would take you right into the cbd & as well as inner suburban areas. There's also a cinema, Kino on the basement of the Sofitel on Collins St. High tea is a must & very lucky that we came on a bottomless HT day!"

"Incredible customer service, staff were friendly and super helpful from front desk to restaurant to the bar staff. Location of hotel is central, given the proximity of the hotel to the train station, at night things got a bit loud outside the hotel premises. The rooms were well maintained and air con and heating facilities were great!"
