"I am picky about hotel rooms: the lighting, the amenities, outlets, bathroom space. Shower. Room 531 has two twin beds (comfortable), lots of outlets, great lights to read by. The bathroom gave you enough space for your toiletries, even supplied Kleenex, and an adequate bath/shower combination. Front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. Breakfast offers eggs, fruit, good coffee, and even good waffles. Gym and pool. No restaurant for lunch or dinner but good ones outside. I would stay again if in Tampa."

"Rooms are very dated. Plugs won't stay in the outlets. No counter space in the bathroom. Rooms need to be updated. Overpriced for the room you get."

"Room was huge and very clean. Nice pool. Walking distance to the cruise port. Close to the aquarium. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. And having an actual Starbucks in lobby was a nice amenity."

"Location is good- 1.7M to Hyde park. River view couldn't be seen through cloudy nasty film on sliders, sliders stuck and not working properly. Listen to bells chime at church all night long on the hour. Under construction so currently noisy. Room okay but has been worn hard. Fridge and safe helpful. "

"Great location. Lots of great restaurants and bars within 5 mins. Great facilities. We were only here for one night on returning from a cruise but would be ideal if you were travelling for business and wanted a less traditional hotel. Highly recommend and will try other ROOST locations in the future. "
