The room was lovely and spacious and clean, had everything you needed. The bed was super comfy with lovely soft bedding. The bathroom was amazing, lovely big space with both a walk in shower and roll top bath. The bath takes a long time to fill but it’s absolutely worth it. The host was so friendly and attentive, went absolutely above and beyond and catered to my dairy allergy. Would not hesitate to rebook if I return to the area in future

10/10 for overall quality, attention to detail, comfort, attentiveness, full English breakfast and more. One tiny niggle - I suspect that the owner's suite was above my room and footsteps above were clearly audible (early and late only). I would strongly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Waggon and Horses is a charming Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are located over a (200? 300? 500? year old) pub, although not *directly* over the pub so that there was no problem with sounds coming up from below. This was the best place I stayed at on my 10 day UK adventure. The room was gorgeous, the bed was sooooo comfortable, and the staff were so very kind. The only down side was no free breakfast but can’t expect everything to be spectacular.

We loved everything here.

For those arriving by car, I would advise parking at the top of the hill and taking only essentials down to the property with you as there is no parking down there.

Very nice place in a lovely part of the world. Good food, good drink, good service. Will book again.

Absolutely lovely and spacious suite! We truly appreciated the snacks and breakfast items available in the unit. Everything was comfortable and to our liking. The only negative was not being able to leave our windows open due to the significant cigarette smoke coming from the open air patio directly below our unit. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

All was excellent except 10am check out time... consider adding 1 hours...

The Inn was a refreshing change from the usual hotel room in the usual hotel, and I'm glad i stayed there for two nights. First, the good. Ten rooms. A bar downstairs. The room was spotless, and the bath appeared to have been rwcently rehabbed. Everything worked well. The rooms are on the second and third floors, reachable either by stairs or a two person lift. The lift of course, a boon for those with luggage. The location of the inn was, for me, optimal. A ten minute walk from the...
