"The shuttle bus driver waiting at the station was very friendly and took care of our bags. Arriving at the hotel, the staff greeted us very warmly and quickly got us into our rooms. The superior room was very beautiful and had a fantastic view of the snowy mountains, and the outdoor onsen with the snow coming down and around it was gorgeous and extremely relaxing. We didnt do the meals, but it smelled so good that next time we're definitely including meals in our stay. In the morning, we took their provided shuttle to the snow monkey park and enjoyed ourselves there before we came back. The whole area was very walkable and we loved every minute being there. Only complaint I have is that there is no conditioner in the men's onsen showers. We fully intend on staying here again!"

"Staff was friendly and working hard. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely updated… but they’re fighting an uphill battle against an aging run down building with apparently a long-broken elevator for 6 floors. Great price on difficult to find lodging in the area."
