The staff are friendly and will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. Kandersteg is a lovely village that's not overrun with tourists. There's great hiking in the area and it's convenient to the other, more well known areas."

"We were given a room with a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. The weather we had for the three nights we were there was perfect. This hotel is within walking distance of the train station in Zermatt and all of the lifts to the mountains. We also walked to Randa one day. It was also away from the noise of the downtown area of Zermatt. The black nose sheep were in the field beside the hotel. "
