We would like to appreciate the excellent service we received at front desk since our flight from Ireland was early and our rooms were not ready yet. The front desk expeditiously attempted to have the rooms ready as soon as possible, and they did! The rooms were clean and huge. And the buffet selections were impressive. The free shuttle service to the airport was a plus. We will surely use this hotel once we come back to Amsterdam again!

This was my first time in Amsterdam. Used the hotel for 3 nights before leaving on a 21 day cruise. The rooms are wonderful. Bathroom and shower all modern. Food options good for staying at the hotel. The daily use for the shuttle to and from the airport worked terrific. We used it for getting to the airport with all the trains going anywhere. The room was comfortable, service and amenities were fantastic, and the immediate access to public transport made getting anywhere in the city very convenient.

I booked the room to get some rest during a 13-hour layover and although this property was a bit further from the airport than I originally thought, the hotel was clean and staff friendly. The next morning I found the hotel was within walking distance of the commuter train that took me right to the airport and I made my flight home without issue.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I was afraid to stay here because there were many negative reviews. However, I was actually surprised at how cleans and comfortable it was. The staff was friendly. And there is a major bus station that can take you anywhere in Amsterdam. I will definitely return because it’s a good value for the money.

Try the skybar rooftop. A nice place to spend your night at.

Very comfortable, roomy, with very good restaurant and bar area - worth my stay.

Despite being right near the train station (really, a 30 second walk), this area is safe, attractive and not at all seedy. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the center, depending on where you are going. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was super clean.

We arrived really early from the States to check in at hotel but check in isn’t until 3 pm? The hotel staff went out of there way to help us get to our room asap.Young lady running the restaurant was equally helpful? We initially arrived to early to check in she allowed us access to restaurant for beverages and breakfast which was over the top. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Awesome experience in customer service and great hospitality. Highly recommend.

Holiday Inn Slotedijk, Amsterdam was good stay for us. Free breakfast. Few steps from Slotedijk train station. Easy to get to Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Airport.

Great hotel; it may be old but it wears its age well. (Old in this case doesn't mean dirty or frayed at the edges). Quiet room, very soft comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant, especially dinner was very good with very good steaks available; breakfast was adequate as a little more variety would be nice. Very friendly and attentive staff in the hotel, always a sincerely warm greeting when I passed by the front desk.
