"Not the best of views,as in the centre of the hotel. Right above dining room and bar, quite noisy at times, with kitchen extractor unit fastened to our bedroom wall running till late at night and from 5am, in the morning. Lack of plug sockets in the room. Asked for an extension lead,as I use a CPAP machine. The reception staff knew straight away and were very forthcoming with one. Paid £142 for a nights stay including full English breakfast. Which I thought was pretty reasonable in comparison....

"The best hotel we have stayed in. Beautiful bedrooms, beautiful shower and bathroom . Even free tea coffee hot chocolate to drink. Cakes fruit, yoghurt etc to help yourself. Very friendly gentleman on desk who was very helpful. Definitely recommend and definitely would stay again. "

"Room 7 decent size...very comfy bed, moderate shower. Good tea and coffee making facilities....excellent breakfast. Property in need of a refurbishment.....old windows that i think in winter will let in a lot of cold air. All staff i met were friendly and helpful. Probably would stay again at the price level."

"All straightforward with friendly front desk. Room was quiet and very comfortable, I’ve used a variety of hotels around the world during travel, here was honestly the best nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel/hostel, would definitely book here again."

"Nice room, very cosy. The bed felt a bit small but was comfy enough. The room was quite warm so we left the windows open at night but it was so noisy at around 4.30am Sunday morning with rowdy people spilling out from the pubs to go to the 24hr McDonalds that faces the building. Good location though and very modern and clean throughout although the bathroom did smell a bit. Check in is at 3pm. We got to the room 10 mins earlier but the code wont let you in until bang on 3pm"
