"At $114 for the night, I wasn’t expecting much. However, it had good reviews on-line and the pictures looked inviting. Turns out, it was everything and more. The check was great, and the fellow at the front desk was VERY helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I was very surprised how clean the entire property was. The pool/spa area was spotless, and though it had some years on it, it has received top notch care. And the room… it was VERY clean! There were no odd smells or stains. I have been in hotel rooms that were 3 times more expensive, that were not as clean as this room. If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel, go else where. If you need a room for a night or five in a budget, this is a great option. "

"This is a brand new cabin in Custer, very clean, nicely decorated and more amenities than we expected: mini fridge with freezer, glass stove top, kitchen sink, dishes/silverware, coffee, and some more that we were pleased to find. The listing was a little confusing as to the bed set up, so I'll clarify. There is a bunk bed with a twin top and queen bottom, a loft that's a twin, and a futon that's a twin. All bedding is included. The steps to get to the loft are not stairs, but actually shelves that are also steps. If you have balance issues, don't opt for the loft! My kids thought it was a lot of fun, though. It was chilly outside when we visited, but the space heater was great and it was always perfect inside the cabin. It was very easy to get to all the activities in the Black Hills, and the host was easy to communicate with. Great trip!"
