"We reserved a private room for 2 people with private shower, toilet, sink. No mention of stairs. Also a kitchen for cooking given dietary concerns. When we arrived, there were 2 sets of stairs, ONE single bed and no shower! We called the property and no one responded. We had to find another last minute hotel at higher price and multiple transportation costs as a result. We would not take our shows off here, let alone sleep here! "Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)"
