"Room had an odor like old drains which did not go away despite use. Airing the room out helped a little. Bed was both too soft and too firm, my hips and shoulders are very sore. Walls outside were relatively soundproof, but things happening in the corridor sounded like they were in my room. Otherwise, the room was pretty spacious and the location was pretty good, roughly equidistant between the train station and city center. There was a kitchenette if you need one. Always appreciate an elevator...

"Unfortunately a disappointing stay. This was the second time staying at this hotel. The first time us and other people that wanted to check in couldn’t because there was no one at the reception desk. Which resulted in a huge waiting time. It seems that in the morning there is no receptionist and their shift only starts from 14:00 (same as check in time, so that means if receptionist is late/sick there is no one to cover). The automated check in machine was out of order so not helpful at all....

"Very good position in the centre of Strasbourg. Secure parking within easy walk. Simple hotel but perfectly adequate. Would recommend for city break. "
