"Every member of staff was lovely. Unfortunately communication wasn’t great as tried to call before and left a message via Hotels.com and no response. The chalets underlay wasn’t laid properly so it was lumpy in places. We had a great time, I stayed in December and decided to stay with my son in June as we usually stay with my friend. He loved it with the swimming and easy access to the beach."

"This is a quaint and charming set of rooms about the Grapes pub. It is not for the faint of heart or the weak of knees. One must climb two steep sets of stairs so make sure your luggage is is light. The check in is at the bar by the owner who is a really nice guy. He gives instruction on how to enter and return with the key and his assistant showed us the room. He did offer to help carry our luggage up the stairs. The shower was a bit iffy. There is a red switch on the wall to turn it on but I...

"Really lovely facilities. Cleanliness was to a very high standard. Nice owner and convenient location. "

"Very comfy bed I slept well! Convenient location, not much parking but you can park on the road between 7pm and 10am. Walls are thin so you can hear other people coming in and doing whatever else they are doing but this isn’t the hotels fault as they do have notices for guests to be considerate. "

"I found my room very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. It has been a very long time since I have had to go out of my room for the loo or a shower but it’s not hard to get used to it again. My only issue is that having seen a laundry basket opposite my door I thought that I was supposed to strip the bed which I did and found stained pillows and badly torn duvet. Didn’t "

"Very good property overall. Lovely but also helpful staff showed us around the hotel, and very good area as well (short walk down the high street to the beautiful beach/pier) and lovely beds and bathroom. Very clean and would definitely recommend. "
