"I ended up booking this hotel last minute after checking into a different hotel that was not clean and unsuitable to stay in. The staff were very friendly and the private room was just what I needed. I also used the laundry facilities which were clean and had three machines available. "

"We stayed in the Peak Cottage and it was amazing! The cottage was the perfect amount of rustic charm, with the best view ever. We loved having the private sauna and the air conditioning in the cottage was nice to have for the hot nights. We wish we could stay longer! We would definitely come back. Note that to book the Peak Cottage, it’s important to be able bodied because it’s accessible by stairs only. We enjoyed seeing the local cats around outside, so charming!"

"Very cute rooms, the beds were private and spacious, bedding was very warm and comfortable (slept amazingly). I didn't get back in time for dinner but the udon for breakfast on the first morning was fantastic and I was serenaded by a lovely man playing Ghibli music and the beatles on a ukulele as I ate my cheesy bread on the second morning. Also, the free iced green tea was delicious. There were lots of helpful pamphlets in many languages about what to do and where to go, and the staff were helpful with recommendations and very kind and efficient in general. Lovely feel to the place and recommend!"
