"Great for overnight stay with dog. All staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is dated and rooms could be cleaner however bed was comfortable and bar and dining area clean with great breakfast choice. Large enclosed gardens and 15 minute walk into Keswick from back of the hotel (off road country walk)"

"I enjoyed my stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff members are kind. I was able to check-in early and was so grateful for that. I was offered a slice of lemon cake on arrival (delicious!) and offered fruit to take on my last morning when I wasn't going to be there for breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and delivered to my room at the time I requested. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Penrith in the future. Thank you! "Beautifully located with views over lake and hills. Great manor house wooded interior with a maze of landings and hallways. Decorated in a great jumble of styles. Breakfast was excellent, served and cooked well. Room was clean and well maintained. Definitely would return. Grumps…no wifi on top bedrooms. Heating was controlled centrally and was chilly."
