"Hotel is a very charming old baroque palace. Pictures don't do the rooms justice. Very nice room (almost an apartment). Breakfast is in the beautiful garden and was very good. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They even did a tour of the palace which used to be museum run by the same family that owns the hotel. Location is very central in short walking distance from sightseeing, food and drinks. "

Our host, Giovanni, sent us plenty of excellent information by WhatsApp prior to our arrival,then met us at the front door of the building to take us up to our room (there is a lift). "Sono contenta di aver incontrato la Signora Angela Moncino che ha risolto diverse pecche che purtroppo si erano presentate all’inizio del soggiorno: tovaglie incomplete nella stanza da bagno, frigo rotto , aria condizionata inesistente che in una camera al 4 piano con terrazza sovrastante e con il caldo siracusano sono “conditio sine qua non” da non sottovalutare. Il personale affabile e disponibile ma purtroppo la struttura andrebbe ripresa da diversi punti. Comunque grazie a tutti. Spero che...

"Check-in/ check-out was easy. Staff were very helpful and sat down with me to discuss suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants in the area…which was helpful. Location was 3 blocks from the train station which brought us directly to Catania airport in an hour. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the bridge crossing into Ortegia."
