Stay Hotel Waikiki
10/10 Excellent
"It was clean and affordable."
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki
10/10 Excellent
"Stay at this property! Seriously — it’s one of the best and most affordable options in Waikiki. I describe it as staying at an “off-property Disney hotel.” 😂 You can literally walk across the street to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and enjoy all the action, restaurants, beach, and Friday night fireworks — but save a ton of money by staying at the Ramada. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was amazing. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, which I really appreciated. If you rent a car, parking is only $30 a night, which is an absolute STEAL for Waikiki. And DO NOT sleep on the Country Market/ABC Store! We ate there several times and saved so much money compared with eating every meal at a restaurant. They have tons of food options, snacks, drinks, and even Dole Whips for only $3.99! Another money-saving tip: there’s a water machine on Level 2, so we just kept refilling our water bottles instead of constantly buying bottled water. The hotel also has laundry facilities, a gym, and a pool. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, affordable place to stay in Waikiki where you can easily walk to the beach and all the action without paying resort prices, stay here. I absolutely would again. The staff is amazing."
Best Western The Plaza Hotel Honolulu Airport - Free Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Sadly, the tile floors were so filthy that our feet were black from the dirty floor. This is our 2nd stay. Same occurred on our 1st time there, last year. Fool me once, but fool me twice? "

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Honolulu?
The principal difference between a 3- and 4-star hotel in Honolulu is the level of service and access to creature comforts. Three-star hotels are generally lower priced and include the services and conveniences required to be comfortable, such as breakfast, WiFi and a gym. You can expect a little bit more at a 4-star hotel — think upmarket interiors, luxury toiletries and extra touches like spa centers.
What is the difference between a 3-star hotel and a motel in Honolulu?
One of the perks of booking a motel around Honolulu is economical rates. This means more pennies in your wallet to tour some leading attractions. Often set near major roads and airports, and with on-site parking, this getaway type is popular among road trippers. When you stay at a 3-star hotel, you'll get more than just comfy accommodations to relax in. You'll also typically have access to conveniences like business facilities and a fitness center.
