We finally ended up with the rooms we chose after talking on the telephone with the owner who wanted to charge us 50% extra for the rooms that we booked. Through the duration of our stay teabags were never replenished. There was no mini bar. The glasses in the room had mould in them. At one stage they had allegedly run out of spirits to...

"The restaurant that is highly lauded in some reviews did not exist. Once there, the owner’s son tells me that they close the restaurant during the slow season….which was NOT disclosed when I booked. It’s in a very secluded area but a drive to restaurants about 15 mins away. There’s a restaurant next door, but the opening time depends on their mood, one day was 10am and next day was 11am. They were both weekdays. They don’t clean the rooms so I had to walk to front desk for new towels and water....

"I choose the hotel because of the location, the room was okay, nothing special. During evening and night alot of noise from driving cars and motorbikes outside. I booked breakfast together with the stay and when i went down to get breakfast they told we had to go to another hotel to eat, they would send a car that would be there after 10 minutes, but after 30 minutes i choose to check out and walk to a restaurant near to eat... I went down 1,5 hour before i had other plans, but only just in last...

"This resort is the older style bungalow type. Yes, it’s a little dated, but is well kept and exactly what I wanted. Traditional Thai beach bungalows at a good price. Sheets were great, pool and grounds well kept by lots of staff. A great breakfast and lovely beach."
