"This hotel was a great spot to stay when travelling through Iceland’s south coast. At the base of Skógafoss, the hotel has small but functional rooms, and an amazing complimentary breakfast. The hot tub had great views of the surrounding area, while still being private. Parking was conveniently located right outside the hotel. A note to any travellers, there is no fridge here. "

"The room was comfortable and clean. The location of the guesthouse was perfect as a halfway point for my travels. Located close enough to the main road for convenience but still private and quiet. "

"This is a really nice property; clean and well equipped. My only complaint was it was boiling hot when we arrived. It was a warm day already (perhaps unusual for Iceland?) but the little house was sweltering and it was difficult to get a cross breeze as only 2 small windows could be opened. It was uncomfortably hot for about 3 hours (we even propped open the door to try to get the hot air out). Except for the heat, I was happy with this accommodation. Great location. "

"We booked this day of because high winds made setting up our tent challenging and we were so grateful we did! Comfy space, warm shower, great little kitchen and sitting area and comfy beds. Kept us warm and safe during an orange weather warning with snow and high winds."

"Simple guesthouse. You can meet other travelers here. There is a strange smell in the place. Also the check-in said I could check in between 12pm to 4pm. But when I got there, she said the room would be ready after 4pm. Small thing. They do try to sell you on buying the breakfast. "

"Beautiful setting! Lovely people. Exactly where we wanted to be to tour the area. Very clean. (Shower wet the whole bathroom floor when used and became slippery. There was a squeegee to use that helped.) The beds were comfortable. I would stay again."
