"Really lovely hotel right in the main square that was great for dogs. We were made to really feel welcome"

"Check in was very easy, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was lovely , larger than expected with 4 poster bed. Great hotel in great location. Bar area was very nice with painted mural walls. Only minor negative comment would be that the paint work i.e. doors and skirting was looking very tired, could do with a refresh."

"Pub and Barn were lovely. We had a barn room and it was small but beautifully appointed. The coffee machine was a real bonus as was the homemade shortbread. The velux window was a bit of a challenge to open and close. Breakfast was very nice with really friendly helpful staff, checkout was also friendly and straightforward. This was in contrast to check in, (e.g. we were told they didn't want us mithering the cleaning staff, as if we would) lunch and evening meal. The food was nice enough but...

"Wonderful experience from start to finish, the building's and garden are quite stunning with a rural view across the farm landscape that is outstanding. Real relaxation and no traffic noise !! Jane and her delightful staff produced the ultimate breakfast and we would love to stay again. Five star recommendation."
