"Nice hotel lobby, very big and busy in a good location, they have self check in that was super handy, as we showed up at a busy time so there was a line to check in. Room was clean, but the toilet would randomly run really loudly until I took the back off and jiggled the handle on the inside so it could fill, the tv didn’t work and neither did the thermostat, would have called the front desk but we got the room at 5 and dropped our bags and left for the night didn’t find out about the tv and...

"This was our third time staying at the Royal York we love it. Staff super helpful. It was our 44th wedding anniversary and the lovely lady on reception upgraded our room. Facilities were fantastic, enjoyed a couple of saunas. The ambiance of the hotel is just wonderful. Highly recommend"

"Everything was fine and as expected. Appreciated the calm environment right downtown. The only small irritant was perhaps the elevators are a bit slower than others."

"Room is impeccably clean and nice. But nobody answers the phone in front desk, housekeeping, everything! Huge living room but can’t afford to have microwave inside the room, there’s only one old microwave at the lobby. No signage or anything as to where you can find amenities, you have to figure it or ask around. Kinda disappoints for 4-start expensive hotel."
