"They do not seem to be well organized. I was looked out of my room for an hour and half with my son. It took 5 guys to come and they still took forever to get the door open. I felt like my son and I were the only two guest and I honestly didn't like that. They kept calling asking if I wanted my room clean. "Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. "Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens...

"Wow. Luxurious property with the friendliest staff. The food was everything was picked from their farm. So fresh, generous portions, and organic! Our stay was simply amazing. We stayed in both the Floating Villa, and then the Bankee Chalet. Highly reccomend. Everyone in that visits Sri Lanka should come here."

"Siminti was an absolutely amazing host! She was there for all our needs. We got a massage and she had a recommendation. Our safari was axong per her recommendation. She took care of our 3 year old son- always having water for him, making him great food, and being the sweetest person. The room was clean and just what we needed. If I were to return to Sigiriya, I'd stay here again. Walking distance to Sigiriya Rock and about 200 rupees by tuk tuk. "
