"We had a lovely room with a large bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. The town lost power but we still had hot water which was awesome as it allowed us to have hot showers in the morning. They also made arrangements for a complimentary hot breakfast our second morning when the power was back on. Holly was excellent and enabled us to check in even without the power. "We arrived late and left relatively early the next morning, so we didn't have breakfast. (We had a peek into the dining area and it looked substantial.) When we arrived, there was someone to assist us, which was appreciated. The premises were very clean, and our room looked out onto the promenade. The decor is a little dated, but it's part of the charm. There's parking in front, and it's a quick walk to the centre of Oban. "

"A massive plus for this Hotel is the outlook and situation. We always love the views, whatever the weather, the operation of the little ferry across to Lismore. The food was excellent, as usual, although a bit pricey but really worth it for the staff interaction, and views out from the dining room. Cheers Phil "
