"If you're not a person who likes big resorts and looks for something a little more low key, The Hideaway is it. Beautiful, well-kept grounds. The room was fresh and clean. The pool and pavilion are in the middle of the cottages, and the beach is literally right outside the gate. My first day there, I had the entire beach to myself (beach is very nice and clean). "If you have the opportunity to book this villa, DO IT!!! The photos are completely accurate. It's just beautiful! We have rented many villas on St. John and this villa is by far the most beautiful and the most comfortable! Hugo was a pleasure to work with and his mom even gave us a bag of her delicious greens and veggies! Thank you so very much! Our family of 8 had more than enough room and the views were absolutely spectacular! We are definitely hoping to return at some point!"

"Great sized space for 2 to 3 people. Absolutely gorgeous view and each bedroom has its own slider to just walk out on. Plenty of air conditioning to escape the humidity. The view comes at a cost though.. the hill is very steep and taxis are expensive so I suggest renting a car. The restaurants at the bottom of the hill are fantastic for all types of meals. Grocery shop at Moe's down the hill to grill out on the deck. The ferry to St. John is right across from you and to see the beautiful beaches...
