"Check-in was a bit of a challenge. We didn’t realise it closes at 7pm on a Friday night (website and Expedia both day reception open until 9:30pm). Property Manager made allowances and waited for us until 8:15om. Great spa, much larger than expected. Would stay again and make sure if arriving after 7pm we get in contact."

"One of the my favorite hotels on month-long trip to New Zealand. After hiking 6-hour Tongariro, the expansive hot tub-pool at Powderhorn was just what the doc ordered. Laundry room on the floor a plus -- and hotel dining facilities (for dinner and breakfast) were very good."

"My friends and I stayed at the Night Sky Cottage at the end of July. We were blown away by the cottage itself, and with the level of service provided by Elsbeth and team. The cottage was very clean, neat and cosy. Everything you could think of was provided, plus more! The kitchen was fully stocked in order to prepare breakfast and other meals.
