"Overall, we had a nice stay at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, but there were definitely some disappointments considering the high cost of the resort. The resort itself is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. Aqua Nick was the highlight of our trip and where we spent most of our time. Staff was friendly overall, although not always very helpful. The biggest downside was the food and dining experience. The food was average, and many restaurants were not open daily, so we ended up eating at the buffet most of the time. Spacewalker looked amazing inside, but the menu was disappointing. The burger restaurant took over an hour just to take our order and serve food. The app was also inaccurate at times with restaurant hours and activity schedules, which made planning frustrating. One major disappointment was having to pay extra for character experiences at a kids resort. We paid for the character breakfast and Ninja Turtle dinner, and neither felt worth the extra money. The food was basically the same as the buffet, and you’re mostly paying to see the characters dance briefly before lining up for photos. Room service was very slow, sometimes taking 2–3 hours, and once not arriving until the next day. Overall, it’s a nice, clean resort with a great water park, but the food, service delays, and extra charges for kids’ experiences made it feel overpriced."

"I went with my boyfriend for his 33rd birthday. We had a blast! We booked the room with the swim up pool. We weren’t aware it was part of the VIP package. It was beautiful. He loved it. The staff were super welcoming and very nice. Our concierge was Raifer. He was awesome!! He was able to decorate the room for us for my boyfriend’s boyfriend. He also answered my messages in a timely manner every time I needed something. He even got us a a last minute ride to the airport when our transport didn’t come. He was great. The hotel itself was on the quieter side and beautiful. Very clean and very nice. We were very happy."

"The place was beautiful and very nice. Room was very comfortable and staff was friendly. The beach was always safe to swim, unlike some of the resorts we stayed at, no seaweed. Only two things we didn’t like about the trip was the pools close at 6 pm. Secondly, was they allow solicitors (i call them scammers) to sell cheap jewelry in front of the restaurants. They harassed us and was basically grabbing us to come to their booth and there were half a dozen of them, every 10 feet was another person standing in your way. We were late for our reservation because they wouldn’t leave us alone, one even stood in front of the restaurant door to stop us. You have to be very rude to them to get them to stop. Very disappointed they let these people on the resort and harass their customers. I come to these resorts to get away for a couple days from my job full of salesman, I dont want to see them on my vacation. "
